Are We Living… or Just Keeping Up?
Long working hours - or barely enough to make a living. Big cities, crowded streets, fully packed public transport. Opinions and life advice on social media. Unpleasant news everywhere. Little time for connection. Almost no time to find a partner.
Welcome to the modern world.
I will start by saying that I am very little to not at all pessimistic.
I believe that even in the most difficult conditions, a human being can find the tools to survive.
But what has been happening over the past 15 years feels beyond this world.
Or perhaps… it is too deeply within it.
Both our body and our mind are now asked to respond to a flood of stimuli, rules, and expectations that they were never designed to handle.
And now we are measuring our limits. And we wait… to see, in the next 20 years, what all of this will leave behind on the human species.
Writing these thoughts here gives me a sense of freedom.
As if I am quietly rebelling by expressing what I am facing.
And I know…
I am not alone.
I want to say this to anyone who is seeking change:
There is someone out there who will listen.
Someone who can help you step out of the loop of the modern world.
Look for them.
There is quality of life without extreme sacrifices.
Search for it.
There is time for human connection and for nature.
Choose it.
I don’t know if there is always money… but I believe there is a will to live.
And that makes me want to move through every difficulty.
I leave you with one question:
Is the life you are living truly serving you… or is it serving the image you have built for yourself through society?
