Not an Interview — Something More Honest, with Carlos
Not for Carlos.
Let’s explore together themes that shape us deeply: faith, family, and the people who have left their mark on our lives.
1. In the movement of everyday life, what acts as your guiding light?
2. What is something you’ve come to understand about life now that brings you peace something you didn’t see when you were younger?
3. If you weren’t defined by what you’ve achieved so far, what would you choose to do and where would you live?
4. Sitting at a café with your grandparents, what would you most want to hear from them?
5. And even though much of life today exists within social media, do you feel we still need moments to unplug?
Honestly, some conversations don’t need a conclusion. Maybe trying to define them takes something away from their depth. What would your answers be to these questions? And what stayed with you from Carlos’ words?
We truly thank Carlos for sharing something so personal with us. Your trust means a lot. His openness means a lot, and it reminds us that even in a fast, digital world, honest human connection still exists.

Faith in God and an overwhelming sense of responsibility for my family.
2. What is something you’ve come to understand about life now that brings you peace something you didn’t see when you were younger?
Relentless effort beats talent in most cases. I don't give up very easily.
3. If you weren’t defined by what you’ve achieved so far, what would you choose to do and where would you live?
I would choose to give back to people in need. Not just people that are poor, but also people that are passionate about building companies. True creators of jobs! Most people don't know this about me, but I love to mentor younger entrepreneurs and actively help several founders.
If I had a choice to live anywhere in the world, it would be Venezuela.
4. Sitting at a café with your grandparents, what would you most want to hear from them?
I would just want them to be themselves and tell me old stories of our family. Like they always did, but it would be cool to be there as an adult vs being a kid and still not understanding life enough.
5. And even though much of life today exists within social media, do you feel we still need moments to unplug?
For me, unplugging is a non-negotiable. A lot of people are so attached to the internet that they forget to live life! I always tell my close friends that spend too much time on their phone to go outside and touch grass haha.
